Experiential & Temporary Spaces
Designing moments, not just buildings.
Some of the most meaningful spaces we experience are temporary.
Experiential and temporary environments are designed to be fully lived in. They shape how people move, gather, celebrate, and remember. The impact of these spaces often lasts far beyond their physical presence, carried forward through stories, emotion, and shared experience.
Our interest in temporary design comes from an understanding that memory is formed through movement and feeling. How someone enters a space, how it guides them, where they pause, and how it invites connection all contribute to how the experience is remembered. These moments of joy, play, reverence, and togetherness are not accidental. They are designed.
This work has influenced how we approach all architecture, reinforcing the idea that experience and intention matter as much as permanence.
Temporary spaces play an important role in shaping culture and community.
From weddings and exhibitions to pop-up shops, pocket parks, and installations, these environments allow people to engage with space in ways that feel immediate and participatory. They activate places, test ideas, and create moments of belonging without the constraints of permanence.
Because of their scale and timeframe, temporary projects require clarity of intent, strong spatial sequencing, and an intuitive understanding of how people interact in space. When done well, they become reference points in people’s lives long after the structure is gone.
This work includes experiential environments such as weddings, exhibitions, and large-scale temporary installations developed in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. These projects were designed to support gathering, celebration, reflection, and cultural exchange, often welcoming large numbers of people through carefully choreographed spatial experiences.
We are interested in designing:
Experiential environments rooted in story and ritual
Temporary installations that balance playfulness and sacredness
Pocket parks and pop-up public spaces
Brand activations and pop-up shops
Exhibitions, pavilions, and celebratory spaces
Projects that value flow, atmosphere, and shared experience
Whether temporary or permanent, these projects are an opportunity to create spaces that people remember, talk about, and carry with them.
